NCLT launches reverse auction for LPC spot

The National College of Legal Training (NCLT) is offering an aspiring lawyer the opportunity to win a Legal Practice Course (LPC) place at a price they are willing to pay.

NCLT, a college born out of an alliance between Central Law Training (CLT) and the University of the West of England (UWE), is launching a reverse auction on Sunday 27 May on its Facebook page.

The usual LPC cost of £8,500 will gradually begin to reduce from 11am throughout the day. Once it hits a figure that the would-be lawyer is happy to pay, they need to be the first to write, ‘I want that LPC’ to win the spot.

To enter the auction, students will need to ‘like’ NCLT’s Facebook page and sign up to the auction via an entry form.

The news follows NCLT’s announcement of several new centres across the country at Coventry University, University of Sunderland, Southampton Solent University and the University of Derby (1 February 2012).
