Herbert Smith has named real estate lawyer Matthew White as its new joint graduate recruitment partner.
White takes over from corporate partner Chris Parsons and will work alongside existing graduate recruitment partners Ted Greeno and David Paterson.
Jonathan Scott, Herbert Smith’s senior partner, said: “This is a very important job which Chris has carried out with great success over the last six years, but he recognises it is now time to hand over to another partner.”
In his new role, White will help develop the firm’s graduate recruitment strategy and participate in the various campus activities Herbert Smith undertakes across the country. He will also have joint responsibility for interviewing and selecting candidates.
Veronica Roberts will continue as deputy graduate recruitment partner and Paul Lewis as vacation scheme partner.
