Do universities discriminate against A Level Law?

I have heard that universities do not recommend students wanting to study Law at universities to do Law at A level. I was just wondering if this is true.

I’m 16 and I am currently doing my A levels this year. I am just wondering whether I will have a chance in the law industry as I did not get very good grades in GCSE. I got 1 A*, 5 Bs, 6 Cs and a D. I am worried that my GCSEs will affect my future chances of becoming a lawyer. I am also taking Law, Sociology, English Language and Philosophy and Ethics for A levels.
