Baby or training contract?

I’m part way through my training contract and have just found out that I am pregnant.

I’m part way through my training contract and have just found out that I am pregnant (before you start judging me I have been with the father for a number of years and we planned to get married after I qualify). I am really excited about having a baby but am obviously really worried about how my firm is going to react. In fact, is it even possible to go on maternity leave during a training contract? I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through something similar or has combined motherhood with a legal career.
