Lawrence Graham staff get sociable

Trainees at top-50 firm Lawrence Graham are set to take part in a new programme aimed at developing lawyers’
people skills.

The firm has introduced the short course on an ongoing basis to give trainees and lawyers practical networking lessons, including advice on entertaining clients.

Lawrence Graham training development manager Clodagh Beaty said the firm had invited trainees to participate in the course to assist them in dealing with clients and networking at events.

“We recognise that having people skills is absolutely vital to a lawyer’s role,” she said. “We’ve asked our trainees to come along because they have quite a hands-on role here and they are often working with clients as well as attending meetings and events that we hold. This programme is not just for trainees – it’s across the board.”
