White & Case has revealed that it will retain 100 per cent of its autumn 2015 qualifying trainees in newly-qualified (NQ) positions.
The cohort of 14 will join the banking, capital markets, corporate M&A, disputes, private equity and energy, infrastructure and project and asset finance departments.
It is the third time in four retention rounds that White & Case has posted 100 per cent retention. Last autumn 86 per cent of its cohort remained at the firm.
Training partner Justin Benson said: “We are committed to offering our young lawyers a great start to their careers, working on interesting, cross-border matters. There is substantial growth in demand for English law qualified lawyers, both in our London office and in many of our global offices.”
US firms have had a good time of it so far this retention season, with many keeping on 100 per cent of their cohorts.
