TLT joins 100 per cent retention rate club

Bristol-based TLT Solicitors has become the latest firm to announce that it will be retaining 100 per cent of its newly qualified solicitors this year.

The firm has offered jobs to all six of its trainee solicitors due to qualify in September 2009.

HR Director Graham de Guise said: “Our trainees play an important role in the future of our business and it’s great to know that our trainees genuinely enjoy working with us and want to continue to develop their careers with the firm.”

The six trainees qualifying in September will join the firm’s professional negligence, employment, corporate recovery and insolvency, planning and development and commercial property teams.

Other firms that have so far announced a 100 per cent retention rate for September 2009 qualifiers include Bird & Bird, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Farrer & Co and Holman Fenwick Willan.
