RPC has revealed it is retaining 80 per cent of its September qualifying trainees.
The firm offered newly qualified (NQ) positions to 12 out of 15 of its trainee solicitors, with all 12 accepting a role.
The result marks a slight drop from last year where the firm achieved a 100 per cent retention rate.
Meanwhile, CMS Cameron McKenna revealed an NQ retention rate of 84 per cent, after holding onto 26 out of 31 trainee solicitors. The firm offered 29 jobs to the September qualifying trainees.
The news follows US firm Deveboise & Plimpton becoming the second firm to announce a 100 per cent retention rate for September 2012 (20 July 2012).
