Northumbria offers new bursary scheme for LLM students

Northumbria Law School is calling for final applications for a new bursary scheme offering one LLM student an £8,568 grant per year and their course fees covered.

The opportunity is being offered to postgraduate students who are planning to undertake one of the law school’s LLM programmes.

The successful applicant will work in the Student Law Office (SLO) for 12 months, with time off for attending studies, and the school will pay the course fees.

In a statement a spokesperson said: “Previous bursary students have found this post an invaluable experience in supporting them with their studies, and in preparing them for legal practice.”

To apply, students are required to submit their curriculum vitae and covering letter with a short explanation of why they want the post and why they think they should be appointed.

Applications close on Friday 20 July.
