Mayer Brown has kept on all four of its spring 2016 qualifying trainees.
Two join the construction and engineering team with one apiece going to the competition and corporate groups.
Training principal Will Glassey said: “I’d like to congratulate our trainees and wish them every success in the practices that they have chosen to qualify into. We invest in our trainees to give them the best possible start to their legal career and an opportunity to build a long term career at the firm. We are delighted that our retention rate reflects this.”
Mayer Brown only takes a handful of trainees each intake, but keeping on 100 represents a big improvement on recent years.
Earlier this week, fellow US firm White & Case announced its retention figures for the spring.
