Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has joined forces with Liverpool law society to offer a discounted Masters course to budding lawyers.
The LL.M in Legal Practice will be offered to law society members at the reduced rate of £1,728, a saving of 10 per cent on the standard course fee of £1,920.
In a statement Law Society president Steve Comforth said: “Liverpool Law Society’s links with LJMU are going from strength to strength in a collaboration that unites the academic world with the legal profession.”
The news follows the publication of the Guardian’s annual University league table by subject, with LJMU climbing two places up to 85, from 87 in law.
Meanwhile Oxford achieved the top spot for its law faculty, while Cambridge dropped down to third place (22 May 2012).
