ILEX Tutorial College is rebranding to CILEx Law School, reflecting the rebrand of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) last year.
Following the granting of a Royal Charter last year, which saw the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) become CILEx, the organisation decided to change the name of its college to coincide with its chartered status.
In a statement, Noel Inge, managing director, said: “I am pleased to be bringing our name into line with the Chartered Institute by adopting the CILEx acronym. The change comes at an exciting milestone for our institution, as we celebrate 30 years of delivering specialist legal training by distance learning this year.
“The new name reflects the specialist nature of our business and the professional approach to our course delivery very well, and we look forward to continuing to provide excellent service to our students and clients under the new branding.”
There will be no changes in academic staff or directors. The name change will officially come into play on Monday 25 March.
