The newly merged law firm Hogan Lovells has unveiled a brand new graduate recruitment website in a bid to promote the greater global opportunities it now offers to would-be lawyers.
The innovative website takes students on a live tour of Hogan Lovells’ Holborn-based headquarters utilising technology through consistent interactive video feeds.
Director of legal resourcing Clare Harris said: “We hope the new website will give visitors a true sense of what Hogan Lovells is like as a place to work and a feel for the diverse people that work here.”
“We have seen a healthy increase in visitors to our website. At this stage we are not sure if this is due to the new website format or an interest in the opportunities we can offer as a new type of legal practice, given our increased global reach. It is probably a combination of both factors.”
The website promotes the firms recruitment slogan, “How far do you want to go?”, taking visitors through a series of questions and answers aimed to meet students’ needs when deciding on a law firm.
The merger between US firm Hogan & Hartson and City-based Lovells went live in May, forging a transatlantic giant and entering the global top 10. The firm combines Lovells’ corporate governance structure while its pay structure mirrors Hogan’s.
