Debate: What’s the ECHR ever done for us?

On Tuesday 1 October 2013, the LSE will host a debate on the European Convention on Human Rights, with speakers including Green MP Caroline Lucas and Shadow Attorney General Emily Thornberry. 

Other guests on the Question Time-style panel will include Martin Howe QC, a member of the coalition government’s Commission on a Bill of Rights; Philip Leach, director of the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre; and Alan Sked, professor of international history at LSE.

The event is free and no ticket is required, but entry is on a first come, first served basis. Questions can be tweeted to @LSEHumanRights with the hashtag #LSEECHR.
