30 Apr 14 Cirrus Logic Buyout of Wolfson Microelectronics £291m Edinburgh firm Wolfson makes the audio microchips used in some smartphones and tablet computers and was once a British high-tech champion. The deal marks the first time that Texas-based Cirrus has instructed Slaughter and May.
