Tunbridge Wells-based Cripps Harries Hall is giving its staff the chance to buy back extra holiday under its new flexible benefits package.
The firm has introduced a benefits scheme which could see its staff buy or sell back to the firm up to five days of their holidays per year as well as take advantage of tax breaks on the purchase of new bikes and extended life cover.
Head of HR and development for Cripps Harries Hall Jim Fennell said: “Many of the people who work for us live in the surrounding area and time is very important to them. We expect that, unlike people at magic circle firms, many of our employees will take up the chance to buy extra days holiday rather than sell them.”
The new flexible package has been developed in addition to the firm’s standard core benefits package which included pensions contributions, life insurance, income replacement insurance and private medical insurance.
Fennell added that all employees including trainees and support staff can also take advantage of extended life cover, which means they can buy up to six times their gross salary from the firm’s commercial brokers.
Also on offer are childcare vouchers and discounts at major retailers across the UK including Asda, Apple and Marks and Spencer.
The news comes after the Cripps Harries Hall announced an exclusive training tie-up with the College of Law (see story).
