Would a specialised masters course help my chances in becoming a barrister in Public Law and Human Rights? Or is it just a waste of time and money?
I am a second-year law student and hoping to one day go into Public law and human rights at the Bar. But I have heard this is a very competitive area to get into and I have started to wonder whether doing a masters in this area would help to pull my application out of the pile? Some people have said doing a Masters is a waste of money – but how else can I make my applications stand out?
