From 2013, students at the College of Law will be able to start their full-time Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) course in January.
The eight-month course will run at the CoL’s Birmingham, Chester, London Moorgate and York centres.
The move follows the introduction earlier this year of accelerated seven-month Legal Practice Course programmes starting in January, July and September with a choice of corporate, commercial/private and legal aid study modes.
Board Member for Business Development Sarah Hutchinson said: “One thing that our students tell us they want in their learning choices is flexibility. We therefore aim to provide as much flexibility as possible in how, when and where students can learn.
“We already offer a range of full-time, part-time and online learning programmes delivered using a structured mix of learning methods, including face-to-face teaching and cutting-edge, multi-media tools. Providing flexibility in course start dates is another important development.”
