City Law School establishes online-only LLM

City Law School has founded its first ever distance-learning degree, an international business law LLM.

Run entirely online, the LLM can be completed in any time period between 15 months and five years. Students will learn via the university’s virtual learning environment and be supported by e-tutors as well being able to access video clips, podcasts and books online.

The degree is self-directed although students are able to connect with each other via online forums.

After completing core module Foundations of Law in International Business, students choose four additional modules, specialising in areas such as international trade law, energy law or IT regulation and intellectual property.

The LLM is intended to better students’ ability to analyse and interpret laws and policies essential to the industries they work in or aspire to join.
