A-level results: Have I ruined my chances?

I have just opened my A-level results and they are not what I hoped, will this affect my applications for work experience at law firms?

About an hour a go I recieved my A-level results. Although they’re not terrible, and I have managed to scrape into my first-choice university, they are not as good as I hoped. I have heard that law firms look at these resutls when you apply for open days, insight days and work experience in your first year of univeristy – have I completely ruined my chances of gaining this important experience?
