Two law lecturers win 50,000 teaching prizes

Two law school lecturers have won National Teaching Fellowships worth 50,000. Inns of Court School of Law principal lecturer Nigel Duncan triumphed in the experienced staff category, while Nicola Aries, a senior lecturer at Kingston University, was earmarked in the rising star category. Winners received 50,000 to spend on projects that make a significant contribution to learning and teaching. The scheme is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the Department for Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland.
