Students to control quality of edication

Law students are to have their say on standards in legal education as part of a revised university inspection system.

Students from all disciplines will be able to contribute to the institutional reviews carried out by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, which will take place nationally at every institution on a six-yearly cycle.

The minister for higher education Margaret Hodge said that the student surveys will form part of a “valuable package which will help inform future students, their parents and business, of where the best provision exists”.
