Students at Leeds Law School will be working side-by-side with legal professionals as part of Leeds Metropolitan University’s Faculty of Business and Law.
One-thousand students will move to Cloth Hall Court in the heart of Leeds’ business district, where practising lawyers will act as mentors. They will also contribute to the school’s law advisory board, which ensures that the academic provision is in keeping with the requirements of the profession.
The change of site will enable students to engage with chambers and gain valuable work experience.
Leeds Met has more than 250,000 associate students from its partner colleges, such as Bradford College and HarrogateCollege, who will also benefit from the university’s change of location to the city centre.
The accessibility to courses and learning facilities moves the school away from the traditional campus-style location.
