Kaplan raids BPP for professional training head

Kaplan Professional, the company behind Nottingham Law School’s London arm, has appointed Lynn Hadfield as its new head of legal professional development.

The appointment follows the providers recent moves to boost its post qualification legal training offering by taking over Kaplan Altior, which provides the Professional Skills Course (PSC) and the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) and Kaplan Hawksmere.

Kaplan Professional chief executive Peter Houillon said: Legal professional development is becoming a key part of our comprehensive, career-long legal training capability.

Hadfield, who has moved from BPP, will be responsible for developing a range of new legal professional development programmes for public and in-house courses.
