Top-10 UK law firm Eversheds has created its own amateur dramatics team, which is now playing to packed audiences around the country.
A team of 14 wannabe thespians cram into the Eversheds tour-car and hit universities with their play, Life as a Lawyer.
Director of graduate recruitment Michael Hunting helped devise the play about commercial law. “We sprinkle pixie dust on it and bring the law to life,” he said.
The one-hour performance presents the daily grind of property, employment, corporate and commercial lawyers.
Audiences take part in the play by solving the client's problems and prizes are on offer for the best solutions. People can win biros, t-shirts or the star prize – an executive Eversheds umbrella.
The Eversheds lawyers have played to packed houses at the universities of Warwick, Oxford, Nottingham and Queen's University, Belfast.
