Weil Gotshal & Manges has revealed a 100 per cent retention rate for its Spring qualifying trainee solicitors.
The US firm is keeping both of its two trainees, the same result as this time last year.
The figure is an improvement on its September 2012 rate of 64 per cent when it kept 7 of its 11 autumn qualifiers, but maintains its performance for March 2012 when it achieved 100 per cent retention keeping both qualifying trainees.
Weil is the first firm to achieve a 100 per cent retention rate in this round of qualifying, last week Ashurst and Nabarro revealed retention rates of 70 per cent and 78 per cent respectively.
