The stars of the legal industry were out in force last night as The Lawyer Awards 2010 took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
The full list of winners can be seen here.
Fourteen hundred solicitors, barristers and in-house lawyers were present to see comedian Michael McIntyre present the industry’s most prestigious awards.
Berwin Leighton Paisner walked away with the biggest award of the night after being named law firm of the year while Hogan Lovells co-CEO David Harris was named partner of the year.
Elsewhere, barrister of the year went to Michael Brindle QC of Fountain Court chambers while SJ Berwin was named corporate team of the year.

Hogan Lovells are getting a lot of press today...Staff alerted to the sound of screaming at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel found the 61-year-old former partner in leading law firm Hogan Lovells wearing only a tiny leather thong, nipple clamps, other sexual paraphenalia, and with hot wax dripping down his chest.
