  • Focussing on percentages out of such a small sample (8 trainees) is rather tenuous as an indication of a wider trend. It also makes no allowance for the quality of the candidates themselves; perhaps this group were not particularly impressive, in which case the firm was right not to offer more jobs simply in order to maintain the headline retention rate.

  • hmmmm whether its 25% or 2 it is very low. But I reckon they are prob gonna take on a lot from their first lot of MBA people in September - be pretty embarrassing if they didn't after throwing all that money at them!!

  • I kinda see your point but still don't know how some firms can hide there Retention figures
    In my intake at PwC Legal in 0 from 5 kept on and now it's like 1from 5 for march Will be same for august too you can bet
