Norton Rose has joined forces with a not-for-profit organisation to give students from under-represented ethnic minority backgrounds a chance to enrol on its summer vacation scheme.
Through its partnership with Sponsors for Education Opportunity (SEO), the top ten law firm is aiming to offer a total of 30 places for its summer intern scheme, which will be split over two programmes.
A spokesperson from Norton Rose said: “We’re keen to make sure we cast the net as widely as possible for our summer vacation scheme and training contracts, making them accessible for groups who may have traditionally found it difficult to get a start in the law,”
“Our tie up with SEO is our latest commitment to increase the diversity of our people and it will allow us to better reach students from under-represented backgrounds.”
