Berwin Leighton Paisner will retain 89 per cent of its spring 2014 qualifiers.
The firm offered newly qualified (NQ) roles to 17 of its 18 final-seat trainees, and 16 accepted.

BLP has retained relatively high numbers of its trainees on qualification over the past three years. It has kept on at least 80 per cent of its qualifiers in each of the last eight qualification rounds, barring spring 2013, when it only managed to retain 14 of 22 (64 per cent).
The spring 2014 retention season has been a positive one so far. Of the six firms that have announced their results, every one has posted retention in excess of 80 per cent, with Nabarro, Olswang and Osborne Clarke all managing to keep on their full complement of qualifiers.
