  • Are budding lawyers still not technologically adept enough to print a PDF file? How about saving the money used to engage a firm to carry out this pointless research and planting a tree or two.

  • Firms would at least be wise to reduce the waste in their publications. For example, full page shots of their canteen or something that isn't actually that informative to justify a whole piece of paper being used should be removed. As long as each bit of the publication is adding value to the experience of reading it, then ok, otherwise it should be removed so firms can save money and the environmental issues are lessened.

  • Firms can do what they want! They're businesses and if they think it's in their interest to spend money on loads of paper brochures, then they're entitled to do so. Low Flier - how many trees have you planted to offset paper usage during your lifetime thus far? (even if the answer to this is 100 my point stands, but I suspect it won't be)
