Clarke Willmott launches vac scheme
Clarke Willmott has launched its first ever summer vacation scheme.
The firm is offering ten two-week paid placements across its fours offices in Birmingham (the firms head office), Bristol, Southampton and Taunton. The scheme is open to all penultimate year law, final year law and non-law students and those who have already graduated as well as career changers.
Clarke Willmotts graduate recruitment manager Heather Stallabrass told Lawyer2B.com: "We've introduced the scheme as part of our committment to the recruitment of trainee solicitors and are looking forward to being able to let candidates experience the firm for themselves."
"We operate a sector based approach which means candidates can gain experience of the unique range of sectors we operate in including sport and renewable energy. Of course, there'll be social activities arranged throughout each scheme, which will give candidates the opportunity of getting to know our trainees outside working hours," added Stallabrass.
Applications opened last Friday (16 May) and close on 19 June 2008.
